Hair Loss
Hair loss is sadly seen by some as inevitable... it affects 70% of men and 30% of women. However, that does not mean that it's nice or that you have to put up with it!
In this section, you'll learn more about the causes of hair loss. The issue affects men and women differently - both in terms of the pattern of hair loss and the impact that it has on the person emotionally and socially.
The effects can be quite profound - check out some of the latest medical research on the psychological impact of hair loss. YES, it DOES affect how you feel about yourself (see psychology of hair loss) but, perhaps more importantly and more worryingly, it also DOES impact on how others view you.
Hair loss is not the same for everyone - male pattern baldness and female hair loss have different characteristics which need to be considered before any treatment plan.
